Robert O'Connor
As a child Bob O'Connor sketched with great enthusiasm, but it wasn't until his early retirement from sales at age 50 that he turned his life-long avocation into a new profession. He has exhibited and won numerous awards in juried shows from the midwest to the entire east coast. His paintings are in hundreds of private collections as well as many corporate collections. His fresh watercolors cover a wide range of subjects, most of which evoke nostalgic memories of days gone by. He is a licensed pilot and many of his paintings reflect his railroad experience as well as his love of flying.
