The paintings of award winning watercolorist Raymond Comazzi narrate the timelessness of our surroundings. Whether it be Florida landscapes, European streets or the New England countryside, Ray's paintings capture a soft, rich image in such an exact manner that you wonder if it is not a photograph. His paintings begin with a detailed drawing, after which Ray undertakes the long and tedious painting of the image with transparent watercolor. With his continuous glazing of colors Ray achieves detail, tone, color richness, texture and contrast. His brush combines the colors with his inner reflections to produce the serenity found in each piece of art.
