Luke Buck
Award-winning artist Luke Buck, a native-born Hoosier, began his career as a painter in the footsteps of his artist-father, Harold Buck, in 1959. For many years, Luke has devoted his efforts to fine arts and is presently working in transparent watercolor and gouache. Luke works in color and composition show his contemporary approach to traditional themes.
His delicate line combines with strong free-flowing watercolors and use of negative space in composition to describe his subject whether it be wildlife or landscape. Luke's love of life and nature is shared in each one of his paintings. Luke's unique talents have built a strong following among art enthusiasts and collectors around the world.
